Hydralux 997 Thermostatic Shower Mixer

Hydralux 997 is a thermostatic shower mixer in matte black brass.

Internal waterways are brass or stainless throughout — anything else scales up and chokes flow within a few years of hard water.

It is matte black brass: solid brass under a PVD matte black finish, which doesn't wear through to a different colour underneath the way plated finishes can. It's built to be serviced in place — hinges and rollers come off with the tools already in most homes.

Care

Descale the head or nozzles every few months in hard-water areas; that alone accounts for most warranty returns on fittings like this.
