Marbella 331 Oval Freestanding Bathtub, 150 cm

Marbella 331 is 150 litres, fits one person comfortably — the litre figure is what a soak actually needs, not the outside footprint.

Nothing about the shape is fragile once it's installed — the risk is entirely in getting it up the stairs.

It is built in stone resin: a stone resin composite, denser than acrylic and colder to the touch until the water's been in a minute, but it holds heat noticeably longer once it has. Ten years of daily use leaves a door seal or a roller tired long before the glass or the tub itself gives up.

Care

Wipe down after use and avoid abrasive cleaners on acrylic or stone resin — they dull the finish permanently. Cast iron and copper only need occasional polishing to keep their look.
