The generator sits outside the cabin footprint, in a cupboard or void, connected by an insulated steam line — not bolted inside the unit itself.

Ventilate the room after each session; a steam cabin left sealed and wet between uses is how mould gets started. It outlives the reason it usually gets replaced, which is a bathroom remodel, not a failed part.
