Slidevex 978 Pivot Door Shower Enclosure, 800 mm

Built for a new-build bathroom plumbed for it from day one, Slidevex 978 takes 6 mm safety glass throughout — thinner glass flexes and eventually leaks at the seals.

The tray sits on adjustable feet, which is what actually copes with a floor that isn't perfectly level.

The frame is tempered glass: 6 mm toughened glass in an anodised aluminium frame, light enough to install without a second pair of hands on the frame itself. Nothing on it is one sealed unit — the door, the tray and the fittings come apart the way they went together, for repair or for moving.

Care

Squeegee the glass after each use and wipe the tray dry — standing water on a tray is what eventually stains grout and silicone.
