Solenne 878 Round Freestanding Bathtub, 150 cm Diameter

The base of Solenne 878 is reinforced under the standing area, which is where a bathtub actually takes its load.

Nothing about the shape is fragile once it's installed — the risk is entirely in getting it up the stairs.

It is built in stone resin: a stone resin composite, denser than acrylic and colder to the touch until the water's been in a minute, but it holds heat noticeably longer once it has. It's built to be serviced in place — hinges and rollers come off with the tools already in most homes.

Care

Wipe down after use and avoid abrasive cleaners on acrylic or stone resin — they dull the finish permanently. Cast iron and copper only need occasional polishing to keep their look.
