Thornby 325 is 260 litres, built for two — the litre figure is what a soak actually needs, not the outside footprint.

Nothing about the shape is fragile once it's installed — the risk is entirely in getting it up the stairs.

It is built in stone resin: a stone resin composite, denser than acrylic and colder to the touch until the water's been in a minute, but it holds heat noticeably longer once it has. Nothing on it is one sealed unit — the door, the tray and the fittings come apart the way they went together, for repair or for moving.

Care

Wipe down after use and avoid abrasive cleaners on acrylic or stone resin — they dull the finish permanently. Cast iron and copper only need occasional polishing to keep their look.
