Hydralux 628 Rainfall Shower Head, 200 mm

Hydralux 628 is a rainfall shower head, 200 mm in chrome-plated brass.

It is chrome-plated brass: solid brass under a chrome plate, which is what keeps the internal waterways from scaling shut the way plated plastic eventually does.

Internal waterways are brass or stainless throughout — anything else scales up and chokes flow within a few years of hard water. It's built to be serviced in place — hinges and rollers come off with the tools already in most homes.

Care

Descale the head or nozzles every few months in hard-water areas; that alone accounts for most warranty returns on fittings like this.
