Nordvane 817 XL Freestanding Bathtub, 190 cm

Set up in a family bathroom that gets used morning and night, Nordvane 817 plumbs in with a freestanding filler rather than deck-mounted taps, which is what keeps the sides clean.

It is built in acrylic: a reinforced acrylic shell, warm to the touch and light enough for two people to carry up a stairwell.

Delivery arrives crated on a pallet; two people are needed to move it into the room, ideally before the last stud wall goes up. The wear parts are the seals, the rollers and the hinges, and all three are stock spares, not the frame around them.

Care

Wipe down after use and avoid abrasive cleaners on acrylic or stone resin — they dull the finish permanently. Cast iron and copper only need occasional polishing to keep their look.
