Ondrina 147 Double-Slipper Freestanding Bathtub, 180 cm

Set up in a new-build bathroom plumbed for it from day one, Ondrina 147 plumbs in with a freestanding filler rather than deck-mounted taps, which is what keeps the sides clean.

Nothing about the shape is fragile once it's installed — the risk is entirely in getting it up the stairs.

It is built in stone resin: a stone resin composite, denser than acrylic and colder to the touch until the water's been in a minute, but it holds heat noticeably longer once it has. The wear parts are the seals, the rollers and the hinges, and all three are stock spares, not the frame around them.

Care

Wipe down after use and avoid abrasive cleaners on acrylic or stone resin — they dull the finish permanently. Cast iron and copper only need occasional polishing to keep their look.
