Verolux 594 Hand-Hammered Copper Bathtub, 165 cm

The base of Verolux 594 is reinforced under the standing area, which is where a bathtub actually takes its load.

It is built in copper: hand-hammered copper with a protective lacquer, which develops its own patina over years rather than corroding.

Delivery arrives crated on a pallet; two people are needed to move it into the room, ideally before the last stud wall goes up. Ten years of daily use leaves a door seal or a roller tired long before the glass or the tub itself gives up.

Care

Wipe down after use and avoid abrasive cleaners on acrylic or stone resin — they dull the finish permanently. Cast iron and copper only need occasional polishing to keep their look.
