Verolux 997 Hand-Hammered Copper Bathtub, 165 cm

Verolux 997 is 165 litres, hand-hammered finish — the litre figure is what a soak actually needs, not the outside footprint.

Nothing about the shape is fragile once it's installed — the risk is entirely in getting it up the stairs.

It is built in copper: hand-hammered copper with a protective lacquer, which develops its own patina over years rather than corroding. It's built to be serviced in place — hinges and rollers come off with the tools already in most homes.

Care

Wipe down after use and avoid abrasive cleaners on acrylic or stone resin — they dull the finish permanently. Cast iron and copper only need occasional polishing to keep their look.
